GAZ Group to export GAZelle NEXT cars to Philippines

MOSCOW, Sep 5 (PRIME) -- Russian car producer GAZ Group and Eastern Petroleum signed an agreement on exports of 17-passenger GAZelle NEXT minibuses and GAZelle NEXT Citiline carcass minibuses to Philippines, the Russian company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Eastern Petroleum develops a system of ecologically friendly transport in Philippines, and it will use GAZelle NEXT under a state program for upgrades of public transport. The first stage of the program includes replacement of more than 100,000 vehicles in Manila and its regions until 2023, the company said.
